Hi All -

For those new, welcome to my rollup covering all things happening in the Immutable X ecosystem. For those who've been along for the ride, remind me not to make sending a bi-weekly newsletter part of my 2023 New Year Resolutions as I've been a bit tardy as of late 😂.. Many of you give me tremendous feedback on this and acknowledge your teams use it as a source to stay up to speed on IMX.

Without further ado, let's get to the latest updates. From some tremendous partner announcements & GME updates to our original podcast series debuting last week, read below for key highlights coming from the IMX engine!

Immutable X Ecosystem Updates

• ZK-rollups have long been regarded as the endgame of Ethereum scaling, but even the most full-time Ethereum developers find the future roadmap of zk-rollups confusing. Our CTO wrote a ground up guide to rollups, EVM compatibility, and the different types of zkEVM to help anyone building an Ethereum project. HERE is the full blog post.

• Worldwide Webb, a web3 leader, will be launching their MMORPG on Immutable X. HERE is a snapshot of the gameplay, including details on the upcoming alpha.

• Deviant'sFactions - who was originally building on Terra - decided to migrate to Immutable X as they are on a mission to bring their game to mainstream players.

• Cross the Ages, created by the team behind PixelHeart, will be launching their NFT-Based Collectable Card game on Immutable X.

• Aglet, a mobile sneaker app, passes 3.5M active users in its Web3 sneakerverse (all built on Immutable X).

• GameStop wallet has been released - highly recommend creating your wallet in anticipation of the marketplace going live! Instructions HERE.

• Decentralized Investment Group & XYYZY partners with Immutable X to build next-gen NFT games -- starting first with Realms of Ethernity.

• HERE is Immutable's public facing roadmap for anyone building, or planning to build, on Immutable X.

What I'm Watching / Reading

• With news of various security hacks / faults, I wanted to re-shared Immutable's security posture in our "Guide to NFT Platform Security"

• 'Between 2 Layers' is Immutable's own podcast, Co-Hosted by Robbie and Carly Reilly! Our inaugural episode dropped last week. The podcast will be highlighting the partners building on our platform and the next episode is with a guest who is innovating in the Sports World -- something you don't want to miss!

• Art Blocks has taken web3 by storm. HERE is a great thread that explains their project and approach to community building.
