Immutable X Rollup - June 17

Turner Sports, GET Protocol, IMX Rebrand, Record-setting land sale..

Hi All -

Dropping in your inbox slightly early with the Immutable Rollup to get ahead of NFT NYC. The entire team will be in the big apple next week - give me a shout if you're in town!

IMX has had many significant announcements over the last few weeks, including two strategic partnerships with Turner Sports and GET Protocol (I've personally been close to both and can't wait for the community to see what they're building) AND the slickest re-brand web3 has seen to-date 😎.

Meet the new Immutable, and read below on everything happening @ IMX!

Immutable X Ecosystem Updates

  • Turner Sports and Immutable X announce a strategic partnership to build blockchain games and collectibles across Turner's sports network. HERE is a press release for more information.

  • GET Protocol, the global leader in NFT ticketing, joins forces with Immutable X to build their secondary ticketing marketplace on our protocol. HERE is a blog post which outlines how Immutable's Layer 2 scaling engine is a critical component for GET.

  • Last night, we launched our new branding across Immutable, Immutable X and Immutable Game Studios (which is absolutely 🔥). Check out our new websites:

  • Mastercard is working with Immutable X as Mastercard brings its payments network to NFTs and web3. Announcement HERE

  • The Illuvium land sale, which was closely watched by the entire web3 space, sold out and became one of the most successful NFT sales in history with $72M in land sold. Debrief HERE.

  • Off the heels of our cross-liquidity announcement, Immutable is proud to introduce the launch of Arch - Immutable X's NFT bridging protocol. This will be our first step towards a cross-rollup NFT future, starting with an NFT bridge between L1 Ethereum and L2 StarkNet. Check out the tweet here and our write-up here for more info.

What I'm Reading / Immutable Resources

There's more missing from this newsletter, but with so much happening we tried to keep it as concise as possible :)

As always, if you're interested in building on Immutable X -- give me a shout.
